She was predeceased by: her parents, Rush Combs and Elsie Combs; her siblings, Edna Mae Oakley, Raymond Combs, Aldean Combs and LT Combs; her fiancé James David Thornton; her sisters-in-law, Debbie Combs and Rosa Combs; her significant other Scottish; and her pets, Maggie and Georgia.
She is survived by: her sisters, Carolyn Carpenter (Donald) and Peggy Fowler (Bobby); and her son Philip Todd Sykes (Josephine). She is also survived by 8 nephews and 3 nieces.
