He is survived by : his wife Carol Whitfield; his children, Mark Whitfield, Kim Hill, Kelly Montiel (Adam), Deborah Edwards and Pam Hannah (Terry); his siblings, James Whitfield (Gloria) and Glenda Buck (Charles); and his grandchildren, Heather Montiel, Dillon Montiel (Lindaay), Janice Whitfield, Alexis Ireland, Coty Hannah, Justin Long, Kristen Lee, Brittany Cooper and Ariel Moore.
