She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Voliva and Wera Voliva; her husband William Derwood Lupton; and her siblings, Garbo, Musa and Tucker Voliva.

She is survived by : her children, Teal Sadler (Doran), Wendy Honeycutt and Alton Derwood Lupton; her sisters, Bertie Bowen and Nina Jarvis; her grandchildren, Erica Mitchell (Parker), Nicole Ecker (John), Doran Sadler (Stephanie), Teal Sadler, Dylan Hardy, Glenn Lupton and Savannah Lupton; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Young, Rivers Mitchell, Kennedy Mitchell, Lily Ecker, Morgan Spain, Ayrca Hardy and Riley Lupton.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home (52 Bryant St, Grantsboro, NC 28509). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel (52 Bryant St, Grantsboro, NC 28509).
