Cathleen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Cathleen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Cathleen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her mother Harriet Shizuko Cummings (Nakamura). She is survived by: her children, Angellia Renay Brinson (Timothy Walker) of Durham and Avery Ray Brinson of Bayboro; her father Donald Lee Cummings; her siblings, Carolyn Leilani Cummings-Batcher, Donna Lynn Cummings-Rivenbark, John Anthony Cummings and Michael Lee Cummings; her daughter-in-law April Skippon; and her close friends, Tammy Sniff and Sissy Hendricks.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Life Christian Center (1063 E Ocean Rd, Holly Ridge, NC 28445).
