He is survived by: his wife Doris Jones Blake; his children, Andy Blake of Rocky Point and Cameron Blake (Daniel Simpson) of Burlington; his stepsons, Wayne Padgett (Pam) of Hampstead and Bobby Padgett (Sheila) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Abbigail Lee Blake, Ben Simpson, Samantha Simpson, Jackson Simpson and Alex Padgett (Marley); his great grandchildren, Wells and Brock Padgett; his siblings, Bobby Blake (Jeanette) and Barbara Pierce; and his brother-in-law Marion Andrews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (207 N Dyson St, Holly Ridge, NC 28445). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Barlow Vista Baptist Church Cemetery (22340 Hwy 17, Hampstead, NC 28443).
