He is survived by: his wife Donna Fairbairn; his children, Deborah Fairbairn of Staatsburg, NY, Samantha Whalen (Patrick) of Washington, NC, Michele Edwards (Maurice) of Poughkeepsie, NY and John Fairbairn Jr. (Sharon) of Pleasant Valley, NY; his brothers, Anthony Fairbairn (Patricia) of Liberty, NY and Melvin Fairbairn (Shelly) of Interlachen, FL; and his brother-in-law Ronald Gray of Holly Ridge, NC. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
