She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Adelaide Gani and Giacomo Gani; her siblings, Giulio Gani and Fernanda Gani Dash; and her grandson Matthew Covello.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Thompson (Patricia), Christine Miller (David), Cynthia Covello (Paul) and Steven Thompson (Janice). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild.
