She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oliver Kunkel and Daisy Lea Kunkel (Burns); her husband Dorman Pitts; her daughter Linda Pitts; her siblings, Howard John Kunkel (Jean) and Melba T. C. Risley (Truman); and her sister-in-law Mary Sue Pledger (Patrick).
She is survived by: her friends, Louise, Marion, Ann and Barbara; her daughter Teresa Machado (Joe); her grandchildren, Logan Stark (Farrah) and Hailee Stark-Chavez (Roy); her great grandchildren, Mila and Wesley Stark; her brothers, James Kunkel (Brenda) and David Kunkel (Kathy); and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Pitts (Liz), Glen Pitts (Wanda), Sharon Johnson (Gerald) and Belinda Kay Harris (Junior). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
