We announce the death of Geraldine Harris in Holly Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 84. Geraldine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Waters and Pearl Waters; her husband Johnny Lee Harris; and her brothers, George and James Waters.
She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Robbins (David) and Jason Harris (Greta); her grandchildren, Garrett Robbins, Addison Harris-Trull (Hayden), Amelia Harris and Blake Harris; her great grandchildren, Zeppelin and Lennox Robbins; her sister Myrtle Logan (Ernest); her close friend Nancy Rash Jones; her niece Elaine Logan Conner; and her nephew Hugh Logan.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Padgett and King Mortuary (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Padgett and King Chapel (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043).
