It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Charles Petty of Holly Springs, North Carolina, born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Petty and Helen Petty (Williams); and his sister Gayle Pfaff. He is survived by : his wife Donna (Hafner); his children, Laura (Charles Quinn), Tamara (John Meliti) and Jon Jr. (Theresa Banks); his grandchildren, Sara Quinn, Ryan, Matthew Meliti, Caiden, Taylor and Astraea Petty; and his brothers, Herbert David and Thomas.
