She was predeceased by: her parents, Durham McLaurin and Dorothy Branch McLaurin; her siblings, Charles, Larry, Ronnie, Roger Branch and Doris Sova; and her stepfather George McLaurin.
She is survived by: her pet Chico. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as a host of dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Brenda's memory to the American Kidney Foundation.
