He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence and Sally Tatum Shipman; and his former wife Alice Faye Shipman. He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Shipman (Wanda) and Gary Shipman (Sarah); his sister Christine Delacruz; his grandchildren, Casey Shipman, Meghan Risk (Grant), Gracie Shipman and Emma Shipman; his great grandchild Rose Risk; and his stepchildren, Ronnie Hardin (Kylie), Johnny Hardin, Donnie Hardin (Merry), Connie Hardin (Juan Sanchez) and Odell Hardin, Jr..
