She was predeceased by : her husband Rev. Freddie D. Britt; her parents, Floyd Hester and Myrtle Hester; her sons, Freddie R. Britt and Kenneth D. Britt; her brothers, Floyd and James Hester; and her grandson Zachery Britt.
She is survived by : her children, Wanda Arnett (Denny) of Hope Mills, NC and Darol W. Britt (Theresa); her sisters, Dorothy Parker of Fayetteville, Athena Strickland of Parkton and Arbutus Canady (Roger) of Fayetteville; and her grandchildren, Barry Britt of Arizona, James Britt (Pua) of California, Brandy Machowski (David) of Arizona, Melissa Sibbett (Grady Jr.) of Hope Mills, NC, Jessica McKinsley (Joey) of Summerville, SC and Jordan Britt of Dunn, NC. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
