He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Lisa Grimsley-Brewer (Keith), Kim Reeves (John), Ashley Grimsley and Jessica Zanders (Aaron); his grandchildren, Brianna Brewer, Larkin Reeves, Shayla Esters, Delaina Brewer, Gavin Grimsley-Simmons, Macie Reeves, Chassidy Chavis and Emily Goins; his great grandchildren, Alaya Brewer Chavis, Amya Goins, Tyler Goins and Braylee Deal; and his siblings, Willie, Jimmy and Billie Sue McDonald. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of cherished family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services (4721 Dunrobin Dr, Hope Mills, NC 28348). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
