She was predeceased by: her parents, Princeton (Sudie Autry Edwards) and N. C.; her husband Lentz Horner Carter; and her brother Donnie Lubert Edwards, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Lela Clark (Mark) of Lumberton; and her sisters, Grey Thompson of Whiteville, Mary Love Royal of Raleigh and Carolyn Honeycutt of Clinton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made out to Hillside Baptist, PO Box 340, Hope Mills, N.C. 28348, in her name.
