He is survived by: his son Gene Simmons (Karen); his grandsons, Korey (Ryan) and Denny (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Cameron and Ethan Horton; his daughter-in-law Ann Simmons; his granddaughter Stephanie Simmons; his stepchildren, Gary Ivey (Joy), Mike Ivey and Renee Norris (Carroll); and his stepgrandchildren, Angie Byrd (Scott), Garrett Ivey, April Moore, Michael Ivey (Tracie) and Hayden Norris. He is also survived by five step-great-grandchildren.
