It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Ann Cashwell of Hope Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Whichard and Annie Whichard; her brothers, Larry, Benny and Wayne; her husband Hudson Cashwell; her son-in-law Jimmy Dees; and her granddaughter Amanda Graham Barker.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Cashwell Strickland of Hope Mills, Jill Cashwell Newlan (Ron) of Hope Mills, Terry A. Cashwell of Hope Mills, Cinda Ginevich (Rost) of Colleyville, TX, Barry Cashwell (Darlene) of Hope Mills, Jerry Cashwell (Renee) of Hope Mills, Henry Cashwell (Sophia) of Dahlonega, GA and Nancy Dees of Fayetteville. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rogers & Breece Funeral Home (500 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southview Baptist Church (4089 Elk Rd, Hope Mills, NC 28348).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be sent to Southview Baptist Church – Face 2 Faith Homeless Ministry Fund.
