He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Trulie Ross Harris; his wife Rose Elaine Harris; and his siblings, Betty Lou Hyman, Robert Harris and Alex Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Britt of Hope Mills, Lisa McDonald (Brian) of Hope Mills, Kathy Adams (Ronnie) of Elizabethtown and Hank Harris (Lisa) of Hope Mills; his grandchildren, Joshua Britt (Taylor), Aaron Britt (Casey), Jessica Scott, Amber Harris (Brandon), Christopher Harris (Brittany), Brittany Mott (Brian), Brianna Harris (Coy) and Garrett McDonald; his siblings, Helen Furches (Junior) and Thomas Davis (Betty); and his sister-in-law Ella Harris. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
