She was predeceased by: her son Jose Manuel Ayala; her husband Ernesto Ayala Maldonado (Raquel Ayala); her parents, Julia Baez Ayala and Vincente Baez; her grandson Marco Jose Ayala; and her siblings, Andre Cruz, Daniel Baez, Leonore Cruz and Carmin Cruz.
She is survived by: her son Ernesto Ayala, Jr. (Maudlyn); her siblings, Ezequiel Baez Ayala and Ramona Baez; and her grandchildren, Yolandita Lake (George), Ricaldo Ayala, Sr. (Dawn Graham), Raquel O'Bryan (Chuave Mandela), Ernesto Ruiz Ayala, Juan Andre Ayala (Lisa Rivera Ayala) and Dorothy Lopez (Alfred). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services (4721 Dunrobin Dr, Hope Mills, NC 28348). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
