It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Boyd Reynolds Sr. of Hope Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee and Ila Jane Blackman Reynolds; and his brothers, Vernon L. Reynolds and Edward Eugene Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Alice C. Reynolds; and his children, Kathryn Covington, William Boyd Reynolds, Jr. (Sharon) and Joseph D. Reynolds (Erin). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services (4721 Dunrobin Dr, Hope Mills, NC 28348). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Gilmont Cemetery's Main.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Hope Mills, 4621 Cameron Road Hope Mills, NC 28348.
