As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gilmer may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubye and Franklin; and his brother Harry Black. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his daughter Dianne Black Dalto (Carmine); his grandsons, Andrew Dalto and Jordan Dalto; and his sister Ivagene Parham of Leicester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
