As Edward departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Edward leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Kent Reese; his parents, Gonnie Reese and Vesta Green Reese; and his brothers, Kenneth and Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Reese and Christy Gentry; and his siblings, Sue and Jerry.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (6030 NC-209, Hot Springs, NC 28743).
