He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Newton and Phebe Bennett Newton; his daughter Heidi Newton; his brothers, Richard Newton and James Scott; and his grandson Travis Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Anderson Newton; his children, Kenneth Anderson (Amy) of Hubert, David Everett of Fl, Angela Newton, Jamie Newton and Frank Anderson of Hubert; and his sister Deborah Hermann. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
One of David's favorite things to do was to go fishing; so in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Take a Kid Fishing Inc..
