It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Martha Pisanelli-Smith of Hubert, North Carolina, born in Peekskill, New York, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Hanaburgh and Emma Kelly Hanaburgh; her son Stephen Pisanelli; her granddaughter Carrie Pisanelli; her brother David Hanaburgh; and her husband John Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Kelly Pisanelli (Joseph Casabura) of Raleigh and Alan Pisanelli; her grandchildren, Sara and Stephen Pisanelli; her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Fuhrmann of Bonita Springs, FL; and also Elizabeth Ferguson of Hubert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
