We announce the death of Marvin Kenneth Bumgarner of Hubert, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bumgerner and Marie Bryson Bumgerner; and his siblings, Linda Neal, Wanda Buchanan, Carl and Jimed Bumgarner.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Bumgarner; his children, Brandon Blankenship of Dillsboro, NC and Miranda Blankenship of Hubert; and his sisters, Brenda Extine of Cullowhee and Sandra Wood of Sylva. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
