It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael James Lisiewski (Hubert, North Carolina), who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph S. Lisiewski Sr. and Dorothy Pomo of Norwich, CT; and his brothers, Richard, Stephen, Frederick and Thomas.
He is survived by : his wife Viola Poirier Lisiewski (Teenie); his stepmother Arlene Lisiewski of Norwich; his sons, Michael Lisiewski II and Craig Lisiewski (Amber Lisiewski); his siblings, Joseph Lisiewski, Robert Bousquet, Kenneth Bousquet, Donald Lisiewski, Barbara, Laura, Mechelle and Kelly; his grandchildren, Natalia, Kayla, Aubrey, Xander, Arla, Savannah and Liam; and his great grandchild Valentino. He is also survived by his brothers in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society in memory of Michael's tenacious love of animals.
