He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Howard (Chuck) of Hubert and Bethany Wisnewski of Hubert; his grandchildren, Amber Bermel of Hubert and Timothy Bermel (Alysia) of Hubert; and his great grandchildren, Xena and TJ Bermel.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
