She is survived by: her husband Robert Smith; her daughters, Cindy Lackey of Granite Falls and Joye Clontz (David) of Hampstead; and her stepchildren, Suzanne Penland (Ronnie) of Kernersville, Stephen Smith (Christine) of Boone and Greg Smith (Paula) of Wilmington. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
