He is survived by : his wife Ann Ownbey Reece; his son Mitchell Reece (Teresa) of Valdese; and his grandchildren, Whitney Ferguson, Lacey Cobb, Jay Cobb (Stephanie) and Patrick Cobb (Nikki). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
