She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McLean Anderson, Sr. and Sudie Alexander Anderson; her husband F. Kent Atwater; her daughter Susan Annas; her sons-in-law, Robert Annas and James E. Davis; her brothers, Henry Anderson, Jr. (Joyce) and Thomas Anderson (Louise); and her brothers-in-law, Alfred S. Atwater (Helen) and William F. Atwater (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Mason (Jack) of Hudson, NC and Linda Davis; her grandchildren, Kent Annas of Lenoir, NC, Adam Davis (Erin) of Bethlehem, NC and Peggy Wise (Jesse) of Lenoir, NC; her great grandchildren, Kennedy Wise, Avery Wise and Skyler Davis; her caregiver Carolann Coffey; and her pet Max.
