He was predeceased by : his parents, Jones Price and Hattie Price; his siblings, Jones Lee Price, Jr., George Franklin Price, Geneva and Sophina Price; his son-in-law Terry Barlow; and his nephews, Daniel Watson and Danny Watson.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce Price; his children, David Wilson Price, Jr. (Heather) and Hope Price Barlow; his grandchildren, Justin Barlow, Nicole Barlow, David Price III and Jakob Price; his sisters, Dorothy Watson and Judy Hodge; his nieces, Vicki Jetton (David), Elizabeth Grogan (Jamie) and April Earp (Eddie); his great-nieces, Rachel Jetton, Rebecca Jetton, Delia Grogan and Bodhi Grogan; and his nephews, Dean Watson (Gwendy) and Jessie Watson.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
