He was predeceased by : his parents, George Flowers Woods and Johnsie Cloninger Woods; his wife Johnsie Caldwell Woods; his son Rue Caldwell Woods; and his brother Ray J. Woods.

He is survived by : his son Keith Woods (Patricia) of Hudson; and his granddaughter Melissa Toth (Dan) of Charlotte.
