She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lee Farley and Claudia Jean Cox Thomason; and her sister Crystal Moore. She is survived by: her husband Robert Eugene Whisnant; her daughters, Jamie Farley and D. J. LaCount (Patrick); her siblings, Michael Farley and Melanie Goble (Danny); her grandchildren, Easton Clark, Olivia Clark, Elena Clark and Isaiah Robinson; and her pet Leo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greer-McElveen Funeral Home and Crematory (725 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
