She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Eugene Phillips and Frances Ruth Phillips; her husband Joe Taylor Carlton; and her brothers, Donald and Edward Phillips.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Eugene Carlton and Jason Scott Carlton; her grandchildren, Justin, Ethan, Kenneth, Phillip, Daniel, Eli, Danielle, Serenity and Brooklyn; her great grandchildren, Riley, Landon, Jaxon, Ares, Kimberly, Lilith, Helen, Shiloh, Miles and Bryson; and her sisters, Kathy English, Vivian Arrowood and Tammy Lingerfelt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Center Grove Baptist Church (3176 Deal Mill Rd, Hudson, NC 28638). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
