He is survived by: his wife Glenda McElyea; his children, Brenda Curtis, Linda Carson (Dennis), Frank McElyea, Tracy Mcelyea (Alvin Stiles), Della Colbert, Jeff McElyea, Jackie McElyea (Tiffany Phillips), Rita Martin (Kyle Mansch) and Robin Fox (LaShawn); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Beamon, Tonya Church, Angie Alridge, Randy Dula, Eric Carson, Erica Carson, Billy McElyea, Ryan McElyea, Keshia Shropshire, Cody Stiles, Shane McElyea, Michael McElyea, Dustin McElyea, Alyssa Phillips, Brandon Marshall, Amber Martin, Shyheim Williams, Shawnta Fox and Grace Philyaw-McElyea. He is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
