She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivory Ward Greer and Omie Chester Greer; her husband J. C. Cox; and her daughter Melanie Cox. She is survived by: her sons, Llyod Cox and Jessie Cox of Lawndale; her grandchildren, Derrick Benfield and Kacie Cox; and her sibling Lonnie Greer.
