With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Davis of Hudson, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on December 22, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carroll and Stella Carroll; and his siblings, Roderick Duncan Carroll, Jackie Mavis Hudak, Mary Desma Carroll and Laura Margaret Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Beach Carroll; his daughters, Monica Lea Nichols (Neal) and Alison Paige Auton (Tim); his siblings, Joel William Carroll (Kathy), Dryna Bly Rains (Eddie) and Kathy Elizabeth Kim; and his grandchildren, Lauren Taylor Nichols, Ella Grace Nichols, Silas Reston Nichols and Emma Paige Auton. He is also survived by 10 nephews; and 3 nieces.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Baptist Church of Hudson's choir fund or senior ministry.
