We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2022, at the age of 87, Hazel Helton Mullinax of Hudson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Rev. Calvin Helton; her son Timothy Smith; and her siblings, Edith H. Bollinger, Aline H. Hamlet and James M. Helton.

She is survived by : her mother Arlie Bolick Helton; her husband Henry "Buck" Mullinax; her children, Wyatt C. Smith of Lenoir, Peggy S. Rudisill (Brent) of Vale and LeAnn Graybeal (Joey B. Mitchell) of Newton; her sisters, Marie Reid of Granite Falls and Thelma Homesly of Cherryville; and her granddaughter Andrea Autrey (Shane) of Newton.
