With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jake Wesley Call of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hoover Call and Mary Louise Parsons Call; and his brother Bruce Call. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Winkler Call; his sons, Jody W. Call and Danny E. Call (Leslie) of New York; his grandchildren, Kawren Call of New York and Landen Call of New York; and his siblings, Tom Call (Lomi) of Florida, Mary Munger (Ray) of Conover, Jerry Call of Morganton, David Call of Lenoir, Kenneth Call (Delores) of Baton, Gwynn Call (Anna) of Lenoir, Lynn Stringham (Doug) of Lenoir and Tim Call (Kristi) of Lenoir.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bass-Smith Granite Funeral Service (106 S Main St, Granite Falls, NC 28630).
