She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. N. R. Black and Julia Black Robinette; her daughter Janice LaRaye Gragg; and her siblings, Pat Battisto and Tony Black.
She is survived by: her husband Earl D. Wilcox of Hudson; her sons, Leslie Gragg (Cindy) of Purlear, NC and Kelly Gragg (Mandi) of Salisbury; and her stepchildren, Vic Wilcox (Linda) of Lenoir and Van Payne (Brad) of Fort Worth, Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
