He was predeceased by : his parents, Merl Gavin and Ruby Lambert Gavin; and his nephew Sidney Moon. He is survived by : his sister Rosemary Bryant; his niece Shelly Miller (JP Miller); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebekah Poarch (Steven), Mara Shuford, Clara Shuford, Quinn Miller, Owen Miller and Phoenix Miller; and also, Aeva Poarch, Ella Porch, Riley Poarch and Hudson Phillips.
