He was predeceased by : his parents, Burl Price and Pearl Cornett Price; and his son Joseph Franklin Price, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Price; his children, Darrin Price (Cindy), Greg Price (Kim) and Paula Lopez; his siblings, Ned Price (Judy), Kenneth Price (Debbie), Bryan Price (Sandy), Mary Watson (Alvin), Mildred Ford, Linda Smith, Patsy Church (Larry) and Bernice Gragg (Larry); his grandchildren, Kody Price, Olivia Kay (Justin), Josh Price, Italia Lopez and Diego Lopez; and his son-in-law Jorge Lopez.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Amorem Hospice at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
