With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kay Winkler Greene of Hudson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence F. Winkler and Ruby K. Winkler of Lenoir; and her sister Elaine W. Church. She is survived by: her husband Jerry L. Greene; her son Adam L. Greene; her siblings, Gary Winkler (Janet) and Linda W. Gilbert (Steve); her nieces, Melanie McRae, Heather Stavrakas (Mark) and Michelle Piercy (Eddie); and her great-nephews, Jordan Cline and Tyler Cline.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to either the nursery at First Baptist Church of Hudson or Amorem Hospice.
