Though Kenneth may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Laws and Trisse Laws; his wife Mary Harmon Laws; and his brother Charles Laws. He is survived by: his children, Richard Smith (Teresa) of Lenoir, John Smith (Faye) of Casar, David Smith (Tammy) of Lenoir and Becky Richards of Lenoir; and his brother Larry Laws. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pendry's Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pendry's Chapel.
