He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Dickson Reid and Mattie Yount Reid; and his wife Lovie Irene Smith Reid. He is survived by: his children, Trudie Wall (Roger) of Wendall, NC, Finch Reid of Hudson and Patty Lail of Hudson; and his sisters, Ovella Yount of Granite Falls and Myrtle Clark. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
