It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Dougie Dingler of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father John Frazier Allen; her husband James "Jimmy" Dingler; her daughter Ginny Edwards; and her sisters, Peggy Hicks and Betty Burnet.

She is survived by : her children, Brad Dingler (Beth) of Durham and Jeanne Allen Heineman (John) of Hickory. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, two dogs and five grand dogs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring Foundation or Pet Peace of Mind, a non-profit organization helping to keep hospice patients and their pets together as long as possible during their end-of-life journey.
