She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Edward Greene and Vera Adams Greene; and her siblings, John Greene, Danny Greene, Julian Greene and Jeanette Brookshire.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Sonny" Jack Taylor; her children, Jason Taylor (JoAnn) and Kerstin Gilmore (Alex); her siblings, Keathley Greene (Lee) and Winifred Setzer (Shober); and her grandchildren, Mackenzie Taylor and Brigman Taylor. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Grove Baptist Church (1808 Union Grove Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church, 1808 Union Grove Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645.
