She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Wilson and Mary Beatrice Holsclaw Wilson; her husband Joseph Wayne Smith; and her siblings, Ann McCall and Dale Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Michael Smith (Wendy Smith) of Hudson; her brothers, Jerald Wilson (Judy) of Lenoir and Kenneth Wilson of Jupiter, Florida; and her granddaughter Zoe Smith.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Grove Baptist Church (1808 Union Grove Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
