With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip Reid Payne Sr. of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reid Joseph Payne and Grace Louise Parsons Payne; and his brother James Cordell Payne. He is survived by: his daughter Gnechten (Richard) of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Philip Payne, Jr. of Lenoir, Jessica Payne Sheppard of Nebo, Ashely Payne of Hickory, Jacqueline, Gnechten Ferebee (Chris) of Round Rock, TX, Rachel, Gnechten Lamar (R. G.) of Augusta, GA, Danielle and Gnechten Floyd (Jamie) of Richmond, VA.; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Bradin, Seth, Maddison, James, Eleanor, Benjamin, Eliza Ruth, John and Gainer; his friend Louise Pettry; his brother Allan; and his sister-in-law Donna Payne.
