She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oscar and Hessie Dancy Porter. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Evelyn Leeman and Carol Diane Younce; her siblings, John Joseph Porter, Paul Wayne Porter, Arvil Edsel Porter, Jerry Vance Porter, Argil Edith Pittman and Marie Porter Hatton; her son Michael Harold Younce (Jacqueline) of Conover; her sister Rita Faye Hubbard (Terry) of Boomer; and her close friend Connie Clark of Hudson. She is also survived by great grandchildren along with multiple nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Ms. Porter requested that those who are saved to pray for those that are lost, Amen!!!
